Fruits of the Spirit!
God is doing so much in the Dominican Republic and we feel so blessed to be a part of it. This year we have seen 31 children become believers in Christ.What an amazing time to hold those little hands and pray with them, then watch the pastors baptize them in the river. They have been coming to the church for nearly two years and hearing about Jesus and singing praise songs to God. We have had nearly a dozen trips in that same time frame designed to improve the mission that God has called us to do, but also to love on the children and the community.

Practically, what would that look like day to day? Those are just a couple of simple questions that Christians face today as they seek Him.Many of us are aware of Matthew 7:7-8, “Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks finds and everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” However; asking, seeking, and knocking are somewhat difficult to actually do consistently with all that we have in our lives. It seems to have slight paralyzing effect to some as we often do not receive answers to pray on our time or even in the way we want. The sit and wait approach is not the answer.
